New guy from Mass.

Post by Chris/Mass »

I'm glad I found this place: (thanks for your help, Keith). I've got a '69 F-250 Ranger camper special 390, C4. I bought her from a dealer after I was too late answering the ad that he also saw. That was in 1987. She had 94,000 on her then and we're up to a little better than 128,000 now. Was fresh from Arizona when I bought her. Very pretty paint job until I hit her with a pressure wand at a car wash and took a strip of paint 4 inches wide by about 3 feet long. Been all down hill from there. I also have a '36 Ford cabriolet ( work in progress) and I'm babysitting my son's '65 Camper Special while he's in the Army. I've already learned a lot from this site and I'm looking forward to more. Thanks, Chris.

Chris,

Welcome to the site and the forum's. As you probably already seen, this place is great! Many great folks here to share and help. We are glad you're here.

Where is your son stationed? I am currently in Heidelberg, Germany...but will be heading to Ft. Polk, Louisiana in June.

I am an MP...hope to retire in July 2008.

Sounds like a nice truck!
My '69 F250 CS came from Arizona as well.
Are you sure it has a C4? I thought that the FE's got the C6, and the small blocks got the C4.

you can ford a river or stream and get to the other side, if you dodge it you will not, and if you drive a chevy to the levee it will run dry and the music will die.

Welcome from Arizona. My truck came from Texas. Weird how the cosmos will do anything to keep in balance.

Hi Chris,

Where in Mass are you? I grew up in Natick. I'm just 10 miles north of the border now up in Derry NH. My keyboard is really messing up so I'm done. Welcome Chris..l :D :D :D

OH and I have two nephews in the AF. One at Langley learning Top Secret stuff we just can't talk about and one at Al Audide (sp) doing what needs to be DONE!
