Sorry to go OT but do you have headers on that 351w? If so what kind?Randy Beck wrote:It has a warmed up 351W bored .030 over with a set of Proline Cyclone heads. Torquer intake, 780 Holley, Comp Cam vavle train. Had it on a chassis dyno a couple of years ago and It made 311hp at the rear wheels. The guy running the dyno said that the motor has around 415- 425hp at the flywheel. He said that I am losing about 100hp thru the drive line.td wrote:hey Randy,

I bought a set of 1 1/2" sanderson block hugger headers off ebay. They work OK. I had to cut a small notch in the frame on the passenger side. I've been looking for a deal on a set of 1 5/8" Mustang shorties. I would love to use long tubes, but no one makes them for 351W's in '67-'72 chassis. I tried a set of 302 header. Drivers side fit fine but the pass. side wouldn't clear the starter. I then bought a set of 351W headers for a mid '80's truck. The pass. side fit fine this time and the drivers side was hitting the steering box.RTG_RACING wrote:Sorry to go OT but do you have headers on that 351w? Yep saw it at f100 nationals in Knoxville and a classic truck magazine. If I'm not terribly confused, it is the test rat for Fatman fabrications' new front end parts for these trucks. They are building a Mustang II style front axle for these trucks. At least that was the spill in the magazine I bought. Rather clean ride. I'm glad you brought it up dano31.

marz im still amazed at how good yours looks im doing a bit of saving to get my stang II setup.
and td those rims are sick where they another color in the center i looked for some like those for a while and they either didnt make 5x5.5 or the center was black or anthrcite (that one color on the bullet mustang rims)
your seam work looks great
