brake lights
I just got my master cylinder and brake booster done and now my brake lights stay on. The funny thing is it has drained my battery and the only way I could keep the lights off is putting something to hold the break pedal up. I seen the mechanic messing with the wires and under the pedals while he was installing my new components what did he do?

re: brake lights
Sounds like he messed up the adjustment on your brake light switch.
It's mouted on a bracket just above the brake pedal. Loosen the nut and adjust it out until the brake lights go out, then tighten it back down.
You might also want to put a good stiff spring from your brake pedal to a spot under the dash to help hold it up.

re: brake lights
Thankz I'll check it tommarow so it's basically losening and tightening the adjustment so the light doesn't stay on right? Sounds simple enough.

re: brake lights
It helps out a lot if you have a buddy assist you.
All they have to do is stand behind the truck and just tell you when the your brake lights are on/off.
It really makes it easier and quicker!
