Cleaning up wiring - cosmetics
I'm almost done with painting my inner fenders, jack, battery box. It's been a little awkward but not too hard. Now, my wiring and connectors look a little bad by comparison. What are some good ways to clean these up without damaging anything? I was thinking about vinyl cleaner and scrub pads. Anything better? I need to use something that won't make a mess out of the new paint. Thanks.

my wife used to work at a place that made wiring harnesses for boat dashes. They were throwing that stuff away by the 50 gallon drum. Talked to the guy that was hauling it off and got about 2 barrels full.

I used that wiring loom out of newer mopars, like the k-car style. They had the plastic "t's" that made it look a lot cleaner if you had wiring branching off the main path. I was never a believer in highlighting my wiring with the bright colors that are available. That's just me.
