Radio delete.

Post by chad67 »

I am curious about something.... When Ford did the radio delete option, did they delete the dash speakers as well or were they installed, but not the radio? If they didn't install the speakers, did they use a dash pad without the speaker holes?

My truck came as a radio delete but had the speaker mounted and the same dash as a radio optioned truck.

Thanks! I am realizing that my truck is a bit of a stange bird. It's a '67 swb custom cab with the deluxe 2-tone paint (and accompanying trim), 240 engine, 3 on-the-tree, economy heater set-up. I was trying to figure out what other options my truck came with. Is there any way to figure this out?

The 67 owner's manual lists available options in the back, and I think the literature library here on Fordification has an options price sheet for 1967.

If you do not have a manual, I can scan those pages and post them here.

I have not used them, but I have heard of them. Those who have used them have reported being happy with the info they got.
