Cab leak at wiper arms?
My 71 has developed small leaks on both sides of the dash. During hard rain I get small puddles on both sides of the trans tunnel. Thinking its coming through around the wiper arms at the cowl. I can't find any pinholes for it to be coming in through the cowl. Is there supposed to be a gasket under the wiper arms, like on the older trucks? If so, how hard is it to replace those things?

Yes, there are gaskets under the wiper arm assemblies.
They are number 4 under the 67-72 section: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fb/full.aspx?Page=131
You have to remove your wiper arms and unbolt the pivot assembly from the dash. It's a PIA.

Looks like the gaskets mount on the cab side of the dash.
I have the radio and heater switches out of my truck right now so passenger side looks somewhat easier than driver side. Driver's side looks like a bear to do.

A clerk at NPD told me they didn't carry these seals. Found an old catalog at home and found them listed after all. So drove back out and bought a package. Came four seals/gaskets to a pack. Is it two per side or just one and I got extras? Is the installation self explanatory once the parts are removed?

If I remember correctly, it is just one per side, but when you take the window regulators out, it is self explanatory. The old gaskets (or what is left of them) will be there, just replace them.
