What do these buttons do??

The second pic (one above the brake release) looks like a brake pressure differential warning light. First pic, no clue...

Tbone is correct about the warning light. The first picture one is probably a previous owner mod as I don't think these trucks came with buttons like that. If your truck has a cargo light that's normally where a pull out knob would be to turn it on. If you do have the light that button may have turn it on or something.

Thanks!! I havent gotten under the dash yet to trace wires but at least I have an idea now.

I am thinking it is something owner installed, here is the position for a stock cargo light switch. Notice the distance between the emergency flasher switch... Maybe a starter button or something?

My guess is that it's a dash-mounted horn button, 'cuz the one on the steering wheel doesn't work. I've seen them mounted on the bottom of the dash before, where the sheet metal turns horizontal, so the button is facing down.

I've got one of those "options". Plan on fixing it right when I get my new steering wheel.

- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood,some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox,behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame,rear end,rear springs,and rear bumper...
