Where to get seat foam?
I need to get seat foam to redo my bench seat. I need a firm long lasting foam.
1971 F100/240 Straight 6/Three on a tree

there are a couple of places online that are pretty cheap.
this guy has a great website on making motorcycle seats: http://diymotorcycleseat.com/
most of the same stuff applies. I make my motorcycle seats out of laminated layers of carpet padding. you can use cheap rebond for a sturdy base layer, and buy (carpet stores will usually give you scraps free) some of the higher end virgin urethane padding for a top layer.
not sure how it would work for a truck seat, never tried it. Good luck, post pics if it works please!
