I need to get one of these. The piece NPD sells looks like 1/8" thick piece of rubber. http://www.npdlink.com/store/products/s ... 559-0.html
Do these work? Does it have an adhesive on the back side? Just wondering how well it works at sealing water and wind out of the cab.

Re: Parking Brake cable seal to floor/firewall
When I pulled mine out, it didn't appear to have had any adhesive on it but that may have have just been due to age. I also did not seem to have excessive rust in that area which would indicate water seepage. I only had the rubber mat on the floor and it wasn't that great so maybe it evaporated before it did any damage. When I go back in with it, I'll be using adhesive though.
