theres a lot of shaft play in the drivers side door lock handle, not to mention the screw is stripped out, pretty common problem. And with it being a 67, there's a lot of one year only items associated with it. I've drilled and tapped for a new retaining screw but the wobble in the shaft is aggravating. NPD offers both the shaft repair kit and a replacement lock mechanism for most years EXCLUDING the 67, but it looks pretty much like ours. I was thinking of ways to bush the shaft but theres not a lot of metal to work with in the mechanism to do that.
Anyone have any experience with these items?

Re: door lock
I am having this same issue with my '67 and from pictures it looks like the '67 as the same as the '61-'66 mechanism. I haven't confirmed that, though. I am going to try to get to my local junkyard to compare the 2. LMC sell the '61-'66 style.
