I have not personally seen those newer mustang seats in a bump, but my wife used to have an 06 mustang and I liked those seats. I thought they would go nicely in my truck and those black ones look really good. They are the right size, comfortable, and stylish. I think the only real problem besides a little headache from adapting them into the truck is trying to fill that large hole between the seats with something that looks good.

I figure the space in between i'll go with the middle seat out of an f-150 I have haven't measured yet but think it will all fit. I have an 08 mustang and seats are real nice I also used to have a turbo t-bird and those seats were great. Might come down to price. Th seat covers are more than I can buy the used 05 and up seats for.
I picked up one from a 2011+ model to go with my '65 seats. It's around 13-1/2" total width. Here's a quick drop in shot. I've got a lot of work still to be done to get it mounted. You can read more in the last page on my build thread.

That's the same company that makes the covers I ref above. They are really nice I talked with TMI at the All Ford Nationals and saw their seats on display. I just want the more modern buckets for the higher back and the locking seat back. I hate when the seat flips forward in the 65gt when you hit the brakes hard. Watch for when CJ pony parts has a sale. Is cool how far they have come back in the 80s he was just a kid selling used mustang parts out of milk crates up in the north end of the field at Calisle.
