Heat/AC

Post by Mancar1 »

Has anyone went with the Heat/AC unit in their Bump? Just wondering how much if any better the heat is than stock.

If you're talking about the large factory heat/AC unit, yes I installed one in my 69. The heater does not get as hot as the heat only unit but it is still adequate. I use the AC more anyway since i live in Florida

Thanks for the reply. May just leave it as is after hearing about your heat. I already have under the dash A/C, and my heater works ok.

I changed the core and replaced all the seals for my non A/C heater and that thing will run you out of the cab now. It is hot and I'm only running a 180 thermostat. This is on a Crew Cab truck. My kids start rolling down the windows in the back.
