In-cab fuel tank supports???

Post by pclepage »

Hi there,

My supports for underneath of the in-cab fuel tank on my 1967 f250 have rusted badly. They seem to double as a flange for the cab mounts.

a) I don't quite know what to call them, so that would be nice.
b) Is there anyone that supplies a pre-manufactured replacement, or am I going to have to make my own?

This is the only rusted piece on my entire original truck, so I would imagine a used part is out of the question and other's must have replaced these before. If I knew what to call it, I could maybe do a better job describing it for an internet search.

Thanks a lot.

Paul.

Post in the Parts Wanted section. Somebody on here had a set and I told them to hang on to them because somebody might need them. Can't remember who right now.

Here's the thread, and the guy (davbell22602) http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... p?p=657235 Maybe he didn't use 'em and still has 'em.
