Radio question

Post by Cornhusker »

My 1967 F100 came with a very '90's Alpine stereo installed. Just doesn't look right. Anyway, I've seen some retro style radios online that look good and are modern in their performance. But they are always for a '68 or newer...not a '67. Does anyone know if a radio bezel from a '68 will fit in the radio opening in a '67 dash? Or, any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

I dont have any good suggestions, but I can tell you that 67s have their own radio. 68 and up will not fit.

No it will not without cutting the dash. http://www.fordification.com/tech/67-72ID_01.htm (bottom of the page). You might try one of these places http://www.vintageautoradio.com/index.p ... &Itemid=67 or try to locate an original '67 AM radio and have it converted /or do it yourself to an MP3 player http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... &sk=t&sd=a
