Cool pics, thanks for sharing! The D60 your buddy offered you, was it the 78/79 D60? If so, good price but I understand having to wait on things due to other projects.

What are you curious about specifically?
Could explain suspension/steering for hours. Unfortunately i hardly have spare minutes these days.
Modified procomp Superduty 4-6" lift springs, shackles i made, crossmember i made. Knuckles are machined/drilled/tapped, high steer arms, i made the steering. Dodge box was used.

Re: 1969 F250 4x4 Highboy 10/13 Trail run
Today I actually worked on this truck for the first time in quite a long time... just did a few little things.
Strapped the headache rack to a large tree, threw the truck in reverse and bent the headache rack back to where it belongs!
Also buffed the paint trade-off with the parking structure out and the roof and headache rack are just about as good as new.
Then finally wired in a new trailer plug since the old one has been dangling by the wires since it got smashed on the rubicon and broke out of my super trick mounts.
And some other little things that arn't even worth mentioning.
Don't have many pictures of the cummins I don't think, so here's one while i was checking fluids.

Re: 1969 F250 4x4 Highboy 10/13 Trail run
Thanks!
Washed her up, even armorall'd the tires yesterday. She was lookin' good...
So tonight I sank it to the axles in the sloppiest of mud and packed the crevices with mud. I was pulling people out of mud pits at a massive bonfire and got myself into a situation!
It's such a sad sight to see... breaks my heart! I've never let the truck get anywhere near this dirty, oh man i have some cleaning to do..

Re: 1969 F250 4x4 Highboy 4/21 Trail
And here it is putting in work last week. Scrapping my bronco 2 that I totalled on a backroad a couple weeks ago, 3 weeks after buying it, and 10 minutes after asking my girlfriend out (yes she was in it... and the bronco2 is how i met her..). There's a story that goes with this one we'll never forget.
Already bout another 3 days after and already have the 4.0/5 speed transplanted

Hey man,
Sent you a pm awhile back. Had a few quick questions. I'll be glad to resend if you didn't get it.
Thanks

Re: 1969 F250 4x4 Highboy 4/21 Trail
Built new front and rear drivelines. new tight slips, .250 wall tubes, and bigger ujoints.
Not such an up to date picture, but installed and wired gauges finally.
Pyrometer, boost, water temp, oil pressure, trans temp, volts, and fuel level.
I also tore out every bit of non-factory wiring and rewired everything. All organized, soldered, and based off a Blue-Seat 12 circuit fuse block.
LED light bar is wired to relay triggered by high beam foot switch.
Overdrive still off its own foot switch, with a OD indicator LED wired.
Transmission cooler fan wired to switch with relay. Same for Rock lights, and gauges. CB, stereo, brake controller, etc. powered by fuse block.
Cruised the local backroads...
Nights out driving the truck just to drive it.
New steering. Little dirty, as i took these on the trail. Yeah, still need to throw 2 more bolts in the clamp i made but 2 is plenty haha
And this thing sure is due for a deep cleaning/touch up
Winch mount.. and a warn HS9500i. Pretty terrible picture though. Slips in front, back, or in flatbed for "storing".
New tires
Rubicon again last Saturday.
Out at the lake a couple days ago.]...

Beautiful country back there! Makes me want to go back from looking at your pics. Did you go all the way into Tahoe or did you stop at Spider Lake?

Re: 1969 F250 4x4 Highboy 4/21 Trail
I slit the high pressure power steering line on my inner fender 1000 feet from Spider. Limped it to Spider trying not to let the wheel break any fingers or wrists. Got a new line wheeled in late the next day, and turned back to Loon Lake. Now have a nicer line on there, wrapped in rubber, cut the fenderwell to clear the hoses better, and have a spare. Hopefully this won't be an issue again haha
