Interior wiper gaskets
Ok, I'm ready to change the interior wiper gaskets that are against the firewall. I know i have to remove the glove box and the instrument cluster to get to them. I also know I will need to disconnect the wiper assembly to remove it. I just don't want to break anything or once i put it back together it's not working right. Any hints on removing the cluster and wiper arm assembly so that it works when I put it back together? I have to fix this leak before I can install my new floor cover. It's a '67 F100 with lights not guages. I printed up a drawing of the the rear of the cluster and it seems it is one plug that attaches all the wiring. Also, the speedometer cable will have to be removed, is there a way it comes off or just pull it off? I also have a new lens while I have it off and think I can figure out how to change that but again, anyone who has done this, some tips and advice would be great. Thanks.

Re: Interior wiper gaskets
I like taking pictures of something that i am going to disassemble and transferring them to my home computer for better view . Maybe you have access to a camera and computer to help you out. To me, everything behind the dash was pretty simple so going back with parts should be fairly easy. I would disconnect the battery also. Good luck!!

Thanks Jimmy, I got it done...it was fairly simple till I broke off one of the bolts holding the wiper spindel to the fire wall but I tapped it out and got all new bolts since the old ones were very rusted. I also used gasket sealer to make sure it was sealed very well, I just hope I never have to replace those gaskets again and have to get all that sealer off. It rained today and no more water in my floorboards so I'm very happy with the job I did.
