glove box - market check

Post by jreb333 »

Testing the waters here. Yesterday at the u-pull i found a near perfect paper glove box insert (non ac). I think i can reproduce these from durable ABS in small batches. cost to buyer would be about 40-50 dollars +shipping.

Maybe, I'm getting ready to buy one, but I've heard that some of the after market ones aren't cut right or something along those lines. Not sure I could drop that much + shipping tho.. I'd like to see what you come up with.

They make a molded abs replacement for dent sides and early broncos. Huge improvement

What would be really nice is if someone began to reproduce these from aluminum. I used to have one that a previous owner of my '68 F100 (now a trailer) made from galvanized sheet metal. I must have left it behind when we moved. :(
An ABS unit would be good, too, though. I recently bought a heavy cardboard one for my truck, so I won't need one for a while.
