dimmer switch w/ carpet
Put in a new ACC carpet. Had it for about 8 years, but just now installing it. Yes, it is too narrow but using it anyway. My question is, how are people mounting the dimmer switch? when I had a rubber floor mat it was mounted ontop of the mat. How did the factory do this with carpeted trucks? Whole in carpet to let switch pop through, or mount dimmer on top of carpet? some other option to consider?

Re: dimmer switch w/ carpet
Needs a hole cut through the carpet. Top off the dimmer with a rubber cap for about $5 fromyour favorite vendor.
