this is an awesome thread. The whole side of my box has been broken & is missing, basically the parts where all the holes are under & around the defrost outlets. I'm going to attempt to mold it out of fiberglass. I can see where the holes should be by the jagged edge. Has anyone ever attempted this?

well, I molded mine out of fiberglass yesterday, I found that the 2 square holes on the end dont have to be perfect, am I correct???

I cut them out as close to original from the pics in this thread with an air saw. Then measured & drilled my hole for the pivot arm on the front, used some thin foam I had laying around & 3M spray adhesive for the door gaskets. My first time using fiberglass so it doesn't look perfect, good thing I'm just making a jalopy shop truck!

Now i need to fabricate something like in the kit to hold the heater core stable
