I have a '68 bump….beautiful survivor with 100% original interior with the exception of a now blue dash that I recently found and installed. The old one was in decent shape but had the typical cracks at the speaker grill. I was fortunate over the past couple of years to find two nos replacement dash pads. I'm not convinced they were specifically for the '68 since one of them had a split radio grill where my original did not have a split grill. I installed one of the now ones I bought recently and it fit and looks great.
Questions are:
- should I keep the original? Is it really of any value to keeping it? The truck is a survivor but I would never put it back on unless it could be restored and even at that point it seems that it would be no better than the now one I put on? If I don't keep it does it have any value?
- What would be the current value of the other blue NOS dash pad? I will likely never need it since I have the new on installed. Rather than have out it take up space, I think I should just sell it. Any idea of current value of a now pad?
Thanks.

Re: nos Dash pad value and related question
DC sells brand new dash pads made with original Ford tooling for under $400. An original pad in perfect condition would be worth $250 at most, at least that's all I'd give. Still in the original packaging $400-$500. One with only the speaker grill cracked, no more than $75. We're a cheap bunch aren't we?

Re: nos Dash pad value and related question
I paid $50 or $75 for a very nice original without cracks at Carlisle a couple years ago. I have a nice one with holes for the spot lamps that is hanging in the shed as a just in case pad.

Re: nos Dash pad value and related question
The split or divider in the speaker gid is a year thing i think. Either that or it was an aftermarket thing. I forget now. Post it on ebay it will bring alot. Used dash pads with inly a bad speaker hole. May go for 50-75 depending. Put it on ebay after the nos pad. Lets see some pics.
