Vent window rivets
Does anyone know how and with what tool, the vent window rivets are installed with? They must be hammered flush on the back side of the vent window divider. I was thinking of checking out Tandy leather supply for a riveting tool used for leather.

I believe I saw a vent window rivet kit in the LMC catalog. Don't know much about it though. The rivets are called tube rivets. There is a flaring tool. Possible all available at a fastener house. I have a local guy going to help me rebuild my vent windows. The frames are currently at powder coat shop. Let me know how it goes.

This brings up an issue. I requested a paper catalog from LMC at least 2 months ago and have yet to receive it. I even called them and told them that I still didn't have their catalog. They said I should receive it that week. Still hasn't shown up. Meanwhile I have spent thousands at Dennis Carpenter, Macs, NPD, E-bay etc. Whatever happened to customer service?

When I did mine, I used split rivets. Remember those big clunky brads used to hold papers together from when we was kids?
Same principle, only smaller.
I don't remember just what size they were, but here's an example:

I just used a black weather strip glue. Worked just fine just left a very small gap. Never leaked or anything.
