Hi I have a1968 that someone put the wrong door panels on. What did the truck come with? Are the just metal?

Mine are metal but, I think mine was a base model so I don't know if they had the option for other panels.

I believe '68 were all metal. Depending on the option package you may or may not have a chrome trim detail around the panel. I don't believe they started with the vinyl panels until '70 (that's what mine has but I'm switching to '68 all metal style).

I have 68 Camper Special with vinyl door panels (black) with plastic chrome trim over metal panels that are the same color as the body of the truck. That's how it came from the factory (when my grandfather bought it in 1968).
