I know I'm going to lose my "old guy with an awesome truck" creds for saying this but I'm replacing my steering wheel and don't want to spend the coin on a repro bakelite.
It's been a long time since I replaced a steering wheel but I'm having a hard time remembering if I need some sort of adapter kit to go from the old spline fit to a newer flat mount with holes.
Just to give everyone a nice laugh, I decided to get ready for this project and even bought a new puller (old one lost in a move). Right after I removed the large nut, decided to check the play by giving it a tug and the wheel came right off, no puller needed. Not sure the last time it's been off the column but this is a first for me. Told my wife I was just being superman but she didn't think it was funny.

Lucky u didn't smack yourself with it.
When u purchase the after market wheel you will most likely need to purchase a installation kit for your application.

May your sails stay full, and your knots not slip. Unless a slip knot.

Re: 67 Camper Special Aftermarket Steering Wheel
My word of the day is "DOH!!!".
It's been so long since I did one of these that I forgot about the adaptor kit. Got one from Grant and just got it installed. Had to bend the turn signal out of the way after scraping my knuckles but otherwise an easy job. It doesn't look original but it sure makes the cab roomier.
I hate to toss old parts and will be looking for a proper home for the original steering wheel. Maybe someone wants to restore it.
