Bucket Seats - Leg/Lap/Head Room

For those that have converted bench seats to bucket seats. Did you gain or lose room in the cab?

I'm a large fella at 6'-4" and I'm already a little cramped so I hate to make it worse, but I really want the bucket seats.

I put 78 Corvette seats in my F100. It gave me plenty of leg room and got the steering wheel out of my lap. I Can still see over the dash just fine.
