Can someone post some photo's of the rubber floor mats in their trucks? Preferably 1972? I'm interested in getting a couple answers to questions I have:
What's the correct grain pattern in the mat for a 72 F-250 manual trans. 4x4. Smooth? Textured? Lines?
Does the mat, or did the mat go all the way back to the gas tank or stop at the bench seat?
Who manufactures the best reproduction mat? DC? LMC?
I currently have carpet in my truck but I'm tired of making a mess of it every time I get in and out. It'd be so much easier if it were just the stock rubber mat. It'd be best if the mat went all the way back to the gas tank. I only want to do this once so any answers about what's best would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Floor Mat Questions
A post from my build dated 5/31/12
No huge accomplishments today but I'm chipping away at things. One of my pet peeves was the lightning bolt rubber floor mat wasn't fitting very well over the carpet. The mat came from an automatic truck with the low hump and I still had the high hump setup installed. So, out with the mat and carpet, left them set in the sun while I took the high hump off and made a peice of 14ga sheetmetal into a low hump. Back in with the carpet and finally the mat tucked up under the cowl cover nicely.
The OEM rubber mats have a pebble pattern and work pretty well. It does get dirty and show the dirt when it does. Mine has been over the carpet since I installed it and is holding up well.
Hope this helps.
