No passenger brake light

Post by towtruckerfour »

Hey guys. I'm working on my 70 f250 explorer. I have no passenger brake light but I do have running and turn signal. I tried different bulbs and another housing but no change. Driver side works fine. Ground looked good as far as I can tell since tail, turn and side marker work. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help

If the turn signal works back there with the park lights on and doesn't blink completely off instead of dim/bright/dim/bright, then the problem is in the steering column switch contact for the passenger's side. If the emergency lights work both sides with park lights on, then the connector at the emergency switch may be the problem.

Thanks for the reply. I was driving home today and noticed it is working again. Not sure what changed.
