I have acquired this 1966 F250 camper special. Straight and clean truck. It has not been run 1997.
I got the cylinders lubricated, and replaced the plugs and wires. I got it to barely fire with lubrcated starting fluid, but not enough to sustain itself. So I rebuilt the carburator.
In the meantime, my son removed a rats nest of wires leading to an after market battery isolator, and an computer ignition/fuel economy gadget. Now I am left with disconnected wires at the solenoid, coil, and condensor. Does anyone know of any good simple diagrams for these components, or photos, to give me an idea how to hook things up correctly? I cannot get any spark now.
Also, the oil ight used to come on with the ignition switch. It no longer does. The starter used to kick over the engine, but it no longer does. The battery is charged.... what do i check next?
