Gauge Decals

Post by 69Ford »

It took me awhile "trimming and cutting" here's the mock-up of my gauges they are not stuck to the gauges yet as I wanted to see if I really like it first. These are from the earlier sixties truck gauges from LMC just trimmed to fit our gauges Vinyl. Want other peoples opinion before I stick and ruin my gauges. Top pic original. The lettering is way more crisp than the picture.

Just went to there website all excited because this is just what I was looking for only to find out its to small 3-3/8" diameter where the F500 cluster takes 3-7/8" or 4" Oh Well

what about if you mounted it behind the gauge panel like the speedo and used the stock chrome ring on the f600 cluster thats what I did to run a electric speedo. I have their billet tach mount.

These are the two I have right now but they are cable driven. I have been reading about how to convert them to electronic but nobody explains how to calibrate them after conversion. I know they are only 4000 but my truck probably wont see much over that anyway.

i need to paint the outer piece of my gauge cluster. the part that says ford on it. what is the right color ? i am guessing that the black part should be gloss. but what about the silver part? any help would be great thanks in advance.
