Heater Doors
I'm going to rebuild my heater. There's been a couple of great write ups on here prior. Thanks to those that did the work. Great articles with lots of details. I understand that the big flapper door directs air to the defroster vents, but what is the small one beside the fan supposed to do ? Maybe I'll understand after I get it apart?, its not like they're sealed off to other areas or chambers. Thanks

Re: Heater Doors
The big door directs the air to the defroster, floor vent or a mix of both. The small door blocks the blower fan and heater core off entirely and just allows fresh air through. https://fordification.com/forum/viewtop ... =6&t=73960
