My drivers side window regulator has a very loose, wobbly crank arm. The shaft it bolts too is loose, apparently because the bearing is shot. Window difficult to raise. Is it possible to replace the bearing? Hate to drop $100 on a new regulator.
Thanks for you help
John

The shafts on mine wobble too. The only parts I've found are the replacement rollers for the window track itself.

Re: Anybody rebuild a window regulator?.
I took one apart last year. Mine was riveted together. I then made a new bushing from some copper stock we had laying around. ( I run a machine shop / fabrication facility ) installed new bushings and drilled and tapped the regulator so that I could reinstall the cover. It can be done but it is time consuming. IT was the drivers side and we were having a hard time located a good one in local wrecking yards.
