Are all bumpers the same length but with different bracket locations? Have a 72 f250 and would like to know a 75 would work with different brackets. So I guess I’m wondering if they are the width (bed)

Can't really answer your question but can give you some insight.
The frame(s) got wider on the dent trucks so I'd bet the bumper holes also changed.
Scroll about half way down this page and you'll see the frames went from 34" on bumps to 38" wide on dents, (with a few exceptions-4 X 4 / stake body):

I'm amazed that NPD only shows one part number for the front bumper for 64' up through 79'.
