Low reading from temp gauge.

For those who have done the f500 instrument cluster conversion, I'm not getting a very high reading on the temp gauge.
The rest of them seem to be reading like they should. I have had a couple times where I have no gauges at all , then they seem to start working. Could that be a sign of a bad ipvr?
