Anyone use something else beside the stock lines? pics would be great. I twisted one off yesterday, imagine that. But looking at them, would maybe like to run them down the frame then to the rad, so would need some lines with 90* bends. I may try and find a A/C place that makes their own lines or a high pressure hose place and price some custom lines
Thoughts?

You could use some transmission cooler hose to make the bends you need.

Re: C-6 tranny cooling lines
Replacing the radiator in my '74 Dodge Dart I twisted off the tranny lines when they wouldn't break loose at the radiator. I had some 15" long high pressure hydraulic hoses made at a local Parker Hannifin store, with flared swivel fittings. Cut the tubing off and used compression fittings to adapt to the hose ends. Installed mating flared fittings in the radiator. Made re-installation a lot easier.

Re: C-6 tranny cooling lines
Just get some 5/16 steel lines and bend them yourself.
laying on your back it can be a pain to bend a long line.
try two lines from the trans and two from the radiator and meet in the middle.
If you run them inside the frame, they may fail because of the engine rocking ,
then you may want a good hydraulic flex hose.

Re: C-6 tranny cooling lines
Went to AZ and got the longest 5/16 brake lines they had. Using what was left of the old lines for the pattern, bent my own. No additional lines, just the adapters at the ends. I was able to go from tranny to rad. Nice solid one piece, no hoses. I like em and brake lines were $10 or $15 total.
It was way easier doing this with engine and tranny out of the truck .
