HELP! I dont know where to start.
I just joined this web site about 3 days ago(1972 F100 that my grandpa bought new) and before I start the restoration I was going to try to find out everything there was to know about the truck,I just have one little problem,My stupid couisn took the ID plate off the door(the one with the paint/interior package on it) There is a sticker on the door cab but it doesnt have those codes on it.I assume he took it off because I cant find it anywhere. The truck is all orginal so we should be able to match the paint but I sure would like to have that plate that is lost forever.I thought the ID plate was on the drivers side door but its not there, is there anywhere else it might be.Not the glove box or the fender.Any Ideas?

re: HELP! I dont know where to start.
Iam back. After I asked my question I called my cousin and he said that when he parked the truck 2 years ago the ID plate was on the door.He also said people in that part of the county are bad about stealing those.I guess someone stole it.I know theres no way to get another one so Ill just have to do this restoration without it.
