Looks good Colnago. I will be doing the same thing later this summer. Did your NPD carpet come with the jute pad attached underneath?

It came with the pad for the section that laid against the firewall. It did not have any padding for the floorboard area, or underneath the bench seat. It also didn't have any holes for bolting anything through the carpet. I ended up using a drill to go through the carpet to the mounting holes. This ended up being a problem on one of the holes. The drill bit was dull enough that it snagged the carpet in one of the spots, and starting unraveling it. One of those Homer Simpson moments: D'oh! After that, I used an X-Acto knife to cut my holes.

Use a soldering iron to melt those holes in and you will not have that problem.

You can also use a small hole saw in your electric drill, but run it in reverse.

I just tried to fit my carpet in my crew cab today. It's been sitting in the box from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard for a month or more. The carpet I ordered was for a high hump trans cover, since I have a 4spd, and I still have the same problem with it not fitting anywhere near the kickpanels. It's at least 1" away on either side, but it fits great in the door jambs and behind the doors. The carpet is also made by ACC.

It actually came hemmed along both sides and the rear, but it looks like its made for a regular cab. The carpet came in two pieces and the back section is oversized on every end. It's wide enough to run up both doors and half the tank as well as go up to the front doors. The fit isn't great, there's no jute padding other than the very front by the firewall, and its going to need cutting to fit everywhere. There are no holes drilled in mine either. It's going to be a pretty big job to cut an fit it all.

I'm not sure if I want to cut it now, or if I want to install some jute padding first, or some peel and stick type sound deadening stuff first and then cut and fit it.

*Update* I looked at my reciept from Jeff's and then looked online at their site and could not see anywhere that specified what hump style the carpet was for. I hope that its for a small hump trans and that they'll take it back. I then called NPD, since they differentiate between small hump and large hump, and offer a crew cab model on their site, as well as being open to call anytime, and I spoke with the guy and made sure I ordered the correct version for my truck. Hopefully this one fits, but if it doesn't, they WILL take it back and issue a refund, which is nice.
