I have a MX transmission behind a 352. The trans has a seperate trans oil cooler closed to trans case on the passenger side.
May I use a new radiator with built in trans oil cooler and reroute the cooling lines from the case to the built in cooler?
Is there any experience made to this topic?
Has anybody a good source for MX rebuild kits and converters?

I've heard of other folks doing what you're contemplating. That auxiliary cool was not one of Ford's better ideas.
What about swapping out the ol' MX for a C6?

I ran my own lines for my C6 and used an aftermarket cooler.
But Yes to your question if you can use the trans cooler that is built into the rad.
I would have to say also that I'd go with a C6. I only say that because I know little about the FMX trans. Most who I've talked to have taken it out and put in a C6..

If I would swap to a C6 trans, would I need other parts regarding drive shaft, shift linkage and flexplate?
Were special C6 used in trucks or were they the same than in cars?
Where would you buy a good quality remanufactured C6 as well as a converter for our trucks?
Thanks, Roman

Another thing I should add: Ford LWB trucks equipped with an automatic have a bolt-on yoke on the transmission for the driveshaft. The car-type transmission will have a slip yoke. I believe you can still use the car-type transmission as long as you have the slip yoke.

swissranger,
As we spoke before about you building an 390 and then you maybe thinking of going with a C6 here's something to look at:
