Cruise control?
Looking for recommendations on what brand of aftermarket cruise control setup to put on my F250. Any brands to stay away from? Any comments on your experiences with installing a kit?

re: Cruise control?
I've been told none of the aftermarket sytems work as well as the factory installed stuff from the later model trucks. I used the stuff from a 79 on mine. It was pretty simple to install, and works realy well.
The only problem I run in to is I tried to use one of the early 80's model amplifiers to get the resume feature, and so far I have been unsuccessful at making that function as it should. As far as the set up from the 79....it works great but it has on, off, set, accelerate, and coast.....with no resume feature.

re: Cruise control?
My grandpa put an aftermarket one in. Had to get a couple pieces custom made for it. And it never worked right.
