Since I bought my 1972 bump. Amazing how fast time flies. In this past year I've learned a lot about my old truck. Also, I can't tell you how helpful Fordification has been in these times. Done a lot of work to it on a low budget, but I have been able to accomplish a good bit: everything from interior, exterior, tires, carb, and some engine work. Here's 3 sets of before & after pictures showing my bump in the condition when I bought it(one year ago today) and the condition its in now, even though the after pics were made at differnent times some months ago. Truck is actually a little more improved, but don't have any good recent pics.
And yes, the truck was repainted(all except hood and roof), by myself using a blend of two Krylon spray paint colors that I found at walmart. Pretty close match.

yup i wish i wouldve found this place when i first got my truck instead of 9 years after oh well, better late than never.
shes lookin good, keep it up. whats the original color? is that winter green?
(FYI- youre gonna get yelled at for posting the links to the pics. in the future, you should post the actual pics. i dont know how to do it using Flikr, but on photobucket they give you the image code and then you just copy and paste. )

Yep, winter green. I used Krylon colors 'Celery' and 'Pistachio' to create very close match.HayHauler wrote:yup i wish i wouldve found this place when i first got my truck instead of 9 years after oh well, better late than never.

Truck looks nice. i like those steel rear bumpers with ford dealerships on them. my "69 has one thats from Ames Ford in Winslow Az. I wish i had a Texas bumper. but anyway good job on your truck.
