new to me F-100
Just what I needed.. Picked it up today
72 F-100 short stepside, 6cyl, 3sp. P/S. runs, drives, stops. Needs some love in several areas. Solid body and bed. Gonna make it my (almost) daily driver.
just had to show her off.

Wow, looks like an excellent starting place! And already had the right engine / trans for a perfectly comfortable and fun DD.

Re: new to me F-100
Thanks for the comments guys... seems everyone likes it but the wife, I made her ride in it to Wal-Mart today.. She just wasn't impressed.
I drove it to work all week and so far I'm very happy with it. I'm currently getting 13.4mpg, but its a 2000' elevation change from home to work, so not exactly flat runnin'. I'm gonna work on improving the mileage.
Last Sat. I had to work on the shifter, and again on Monday.. but its working for now.
Last night at the gas station I got fed up with the ign. lock cylinder and replaced it temporarily with one from a parts truck when I got home.
here's some fresh pics I took today on the way home from wallyworld
