Re: i have been infested again this time mice
Get the glue traps, put them across a traffic point with guides on each side. We've been hit with them too this spring. One at each side of the fridge with a shoe as the guide on the other side. Put a cracker wrapper on the floor. I use a Ritz wrapper, because it's big but light. A mouse will run out smell the butter and salt on the wrapper and try to drag the thing back between the fridge and cabinets but has to go through the glue trap. Same wrapper has caught four mice in two weeks...
If it's a garage here's a great mouse catching recipe:
Materials:
a yard stick (or flat peice of wood 1" x 30-40" long)
a five gallon bucket
peanut butter
1/2 gallon of water.
Directions:
Put the water in the bucket, the bucket on the floor, the stick up to the edge of the bucket with about 4-6" overhanging into the bucket. Smear a trace coating of peanut butter on the top face of the stick and a put glob under the tip that overhangs the bucket. The mouse smells the butter, follows it up the stick, tries to get at the glob, ends up in the bucket. Once it's in the pool it's too heavy to jump out and if the water is deep enough, well, the mouse can't swim forever. My best was ten in one week when I was renting a place. You have to check the trap every three days, four and the mice start the smell...

Re: i have been infested again this time mice
I agree the bucket traps work real good. I use blue berry granola bar pieces in my spring traps and that gets 'em but if the trap stays upright, usually another mouse comes along and eats the rest of the bait. No problem, re-bait it and get that sucker the next time. I bait all my sheds with Bromone bait packs and that keeps them cleaned up too. I also use urinal cakes, not fresh from your local bar c/w chewing gum, but I purchase these from a cleaning supply place. Just place them around your place, leave the wrappers on them and they will fit into the glove box or under a seat and over time they will melt away and usually last a couple years. The aroma is livable but certainly not like moth balls. Great thread!

Something that works to keep them out of vehicles that are in storage is Bounce dryer sheets. Lay them around inside your buggy and leave the windows up. For what ever reason mice don't like the smell and stay away.

Re: i have been infested again this time mice
Dad used bounce sheets in his motorhome and they used it to make a bigger nest. I was wondering why just about every truck I have ran across the dash is full of mice nest.
