This came up in chat last night. I think it is pretty slick.

Re: Power Stroke bump
dang that one must be a pullin sonofa. gotta be a 7.3 I got the same combo but in a 99 2wd they got the power since there is no front 4x4 axle to slow it down either but that is only a bump body on a truck frame the power to weight ratio must kick some a** thats if it gots a turbo or injector upgrades
if its fixed break it again red white and ford blue the only up hill thats good is the one you are going down

I've been drooling over that truck for months, I hadn't seen it on CL in a while so i figured it sold.I called the guy on it a few months ago but no one returned my phone call.I would love for that thing to be sitting in my driveway!

Looks to be a real fine example of an awesome build.

Re: Power Stroke bump
I would love to know how much work was involved in the dash conversion? Pretty darn impressive.

Re: Power Stroke bump
I wish it was a bit closer. It is about two hours away. No I can not afford it, but I want to take a bunch of pics of how things were done.

Re: Power Stroke bump
I suppose its possible to have an air bag in an older vehicle, but the work would be combersome to say the least. Afaik the mid 90's pickups didn't have airbags. I know my 97 F-250 didn't. Maybe the F-150s did but I am not very knowlegeable about them.OldRedFord wrote:This came up in chat last night. I think it is pretty slick.

Re: Power Stroke bump
The price is impressive, if it was done with quality workmanship that price is a steal. I wouldn't prejudge it though. I suspect (mainly by the use of the 95 dash) that the truck may be a hack and the price tag reflects that. That dash doesn't fit our trucks. If it does it's either a hack or there was some serious skill combined with time and dedication that made it happen.
Regardless of it's quality the fact is it's a 450 chassis. That truck is not pickup, it has deep gears and will be screaming on the freeway. It will shake your kidneys out and those 94-97 PSD F-450's are notorious for having engine electrical and fuel issues directly related to the rough ride. One would be really lucky to get 15 MPG in that thing.
