Is $1200 a fair price for this 1953 F100?
Looks pretty rough.

Re: 1950s Ford trucks
I sold a 1951 F-1 rolling chassis today for $750 and it looked much better than that truck. I would give about $300 maybe for that truck

Re: 1950s Ford trucks
Seems like every vehicle I find on craigs list around here from the 50s is atleast $1200 even if its a rusted out hulk. Its just not fair.

The second link truck looks a lot better than the one you linked that you were asking about.

Re: 1950s Ford trucks
Keep an eye on the HAMB, they have these come up pretty regularly. Here's one in good condition for only an extra grand (asking price), but with a later model 6 cyl:

Of course that one's in CA, but keep an eye out there and one will likely come up near you.
