No deal for newdeal

Post by newdeal »

I gotta tell ya, this web sight should be called "Fordification for broke guys" judging by conversations in the for sale forum. Gee, I'd like to but...., if only I had the money I'd....., I know you're asking $1000, would you take $300? I put my truck for sale here thinking I would sell it in a week to somebody who appreciates these trucks, but it's all a bunch of tire kickers. I'M JUST SAYING!

I think the problem in trying to sell a truck here is ,everyone already has more than they really need. :D

I'm just lucky I don't have more room. I've got two trucks, two cars and a motorcycle. If I had more room, I'd buy more stuff :(

You can't get more than market value just because someone likes your truck. You've got to realize just how many of these trucks are out there, and we can't save them all. Most people view these trucks and basic transportation, and with so many still out there, that's what they're priced like. You want to sell your truck for more than you paid for it, get it into the barrett jackson, otherwise it's just like any other vehicle: a money pit.

It's for my twin boys, sure they're only 3 right now, but it's all for them! Well, and my twin girls. They're not even 1 yet, but when they are I'll have a pit crew!

Seems to me that if you really wanted to sell it you'd have more than two grainy pictures posted up. Do a really good for sale thread here and link to it via craigslist.

Right now it's better to scrap a truck for $500 today vs. try to sell it for $800 whenever.

Another thing about this site, is it has worldwide status of people. From Brazil to Australia, and it really doesn't have a mass of people in one area. We are pretty spread out. I know all the east coast guys just sit on this side of the states and cry when we see rust free trucks selling in CA, for pennies on the dollar what they go for on our side. A local craigslist add would do a lot better for your sale. You will hit more people in your local area. You can always post the craigslist add here for members to check out. I would also get some better pictures of the truck as was mentioned earlier. Anyhow good luck selling your truck, if I was closer I would be interested, but than I am in FL, so it isn't feasible for me to be interested and toy with your emotions. Again good luck with the sale!

Between my Brother and I we only have 8 of these old Fords. I'd like to get some more but my wife might kill me if I do.

At first i wasnt interested in your truck, because like every single person on this site i already own at least one, but now that you're complaining and  about it, I've changed my mind!! I'll take it, and I'll give twice what you are asking!! (SARCASM)
