I did it. I took off the front clip. It was fairly easy. Keith, it was just like you said.
I took off the front bumper first. The two frame mounts near the bumper, the two small bolts on the fender bottoms near the doors, then the two bolts from the inside of the door openings, and finially the three fire wall bolts came next. I poped the wire harness thru the fire wall on either side after disconnecting the connectors and then...
I couldn't find anyone to help take it off so I used the engine hoist, and off it came (with a little help from the wife). Now if I only had somewhere to put it.
Now for the cab and the bed.

awesome! got any pics of it? Also are you planning on heading up to Parts A Rama 2 this weekend at the butler fairgrounds? I'll be out there sunday, I dunno how much will be there for our trucks but you never know.

Hope to get there Sunday afternoon too, but have Army Reserve. Maybe the boss will let me slip away. If not, is there going to be another one at the Lawrence County Fair Grounds later.
Last year they had their first one about a month later there. If I manage to get there look for a FE tee shirt.
