70-72 steering wheels vs 73-77

i have a few steering wheels from 70-77 trucks. there are some small differences. the hub where it meets the shift collar is a slightly different size. could someone measure an original 70-72 hub where it meets the shift collar. your wheel will need to be off to make this measurement. i have my collection mixed up as to what they came off of. thats why i need the measurements.

I've got a '72 steering wheel...the diameter where the wheel meets up to the shift collar is 3-1/2".
