After a long process in restoration I'm finally putting my interior together. Its been so long since I ripped everything out I can't remember what was what plus a body shop has had its hands in it also.
Question is simple. I see that the retaining trim and headliner share the same elongated holes. My question is are there supposed to be U clips or the sort or do we just drive the screws in as is. I'd think we need clips. If so what size or type and if anyone has any pics I'd appreciate it as what we had are now lost to two years of shuffling parts here and there. Thanks!

Re: headliner and trim questions
I could be wrong but I believe I remember that the screws go right into the slotted openings. In other words, no clips. I can double check that later. Hopefully, someone else will respond to prove me right or wrong.

Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in garages. (Apologies to Kenneth Grahame.)

No clips on mine either. The screws go right into the holes.

OK guys thanks for the info. I suspected as much but needed some confirmation. Hope to be getting it together soon.
