Dolphin gages
Installing my dash insert with Dolphin gages in the 68 in next few days. Has anyone used them? If so any problems during install?

Guess I am the only one that has used this set up.

Re: Dolphin gages
Good day Mancar1,
I would have replied to this thread (or your other thread about wiring), yet my configuration's a little different. Still, we're among the semi-few members who have completely replaced their instrument clusters. Maybe skimming through my old thread on this topic would be amusing to you, at least: Could I ask for advice on attaching my Teleflex/V3 gauges?
I'd be curious to see some photos of your dash, and your custom wiring, if you feel like posting some.
Have a great weekend,
Robroy

Re: Dolphin gages
I was able to do it, and I can barely spell electricity. Had to track down a few shorts during the install, but I think it turned out good.

Re: Dolphin gages
I had to put in the new sender that was sent with the gauges for the new gas gauge. It "worked" with the old sender, it just wasn't accurate.

Re: Dolphin gages
as a folow up to this. what all was entailed with the wiring change? did you have to buy a lot of secondary guage wire, etc. to pull of the switch from a stock unit.

I had to run a couple new wires from the ignition switch. Nothing major. Like I said, I don't know much of anything about electricity. Should have paid attention more in school.
