Vendor for New Seat
I apologize if this has been covered somewhere. I searched but didn't find anything. I have a 1968 F250 with the stock bench seat, but I'd like to replace it with something new that maybe has a fold down piece in the middle with cupholders, etc. for use when nobody is sitting there. Are there vendors that sell direct bolt on replacement seats for our trucks?

If anybody out there actually did make a bolt in replacement, it'd cost hundreds if not thousands. Instead, search your local salvage yards for a nice set, suitable to your needs, of any Ford truck seats from 1967-1996 and have it recovered as you like. Just swap the seat brackets, drill out the threaded holes and bolt them together. http://www.fordification.com/tech/seats.htm

Thank you very much for that information. I'm actually headed to the salvage yard this weekend and will start looking. I also like the idea of not paying thousands. Thanks again.
