Re: Seat replacement
Most seats will fit but it's not a bolt in, you'll have to drill mounting holes for it at a minimum. Anything up to '96 is almost a direct swap. Read this for more information. http://www.fordification.com/tech/seats.htm

Re: Seat replacement
Just a side note here: We tried some 2004 style F150 bucket Seats, they will not work without pretty heavy mods. The seat itself is made too high , even took of all the track and tried again still to high and sets to far forward. We could not make them work. Have a really nice set of Gray Cloth 2004 F150 bucket seats for sale now.......

Re: Seat replacement
What year seat tracks are compatible with the 1970 F100? I'm in the process of purchasing the 70 F100 and I'm not sure what's in it, but I know it's not original and the tracks aren't even bolted to the floor. I think I can get a 78 bench seat and tracks pretty reasonably close by and I read that all seats through 96 are compatible if you use the original tracks but I couldn't find anything on track interchange.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Seat replacement
I'm in the same boat, looking for a bench and track.
I have a '70 with buckets (80s Escort). Gas tank still in the cab.
Obviously the 67-72 track, but what about the Dents and 80-96?

Re: Seat replacement
I forgot to take pictures but the tracks on the dentside at the shop look the same as ours, so maybe up to '79.

Re: Seat replacement
Thanks for the info. I bought the bumpside I was looking at, but the 78 seat didn't pan out, so I will keep looking. I've got a lot to do before I really need to be concerned about the seat anyway.
