Art Linkletter!

Post by jzjames »

Hey you know he was the MAN!
He died today at 97, I surely admired him. In the 50's and 60's when TV seemed to be a lot more fun than today, I remember looking forward to his Thurs. night program, "People Are Funny!". He was a real entertainer, and I think he was from Canada.

Thought Id give mention here because maybe some of us can relate.

I remember his show "House Party." That always made me laugh. He was a class act, and he will be missed. BTW, "Now, what did your mommy and daddy tell you NOT to say?"

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

I remember him on TV when I was a kid. I think he also hosted a show called Truth or Consequences. He was always a class act. :)
